Sports Scholarship
Adnan held a Sports Scholarship whilst at Medical School at The University of Birmingham. This was awarded for international competition in Ironman triathlon (Swim 2.4M, Bike 112.6M, Run 26.2M). Due to his clinical commitments he now focuses on shorter distances and some of his notable race results from the last few years are listed below.

Tour de France 2012 - The One Day Ahead Project

In 2012, Adnan and three friends cycled the entire route of the Tour de France (3,500kms) one day ahead of the professional race in order to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. This would not have been possible without the hard work of the support crew or the commercial sponsors (Chain Reaction Cycles, Physioworld, High5, and Muc-Off). The achievement was recognised in the 2013 Telegraph on Sunday Happy List. A Gallery of photos from this event and other recent events can be found below.
